Saturday Sacrifice: When the praises go up, the glory comes down

13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

These verses remind me of this song we use to sing in church. The lyrics go like this…

“When the praises go up, the glory comes down, where sin use to dwell, grace now abounds,

There’s healing and hope, and love all around, when the praises go up, the glory comes down.”

Praising and thanking God is shown in these verses as a definite way to get God’s attention.

It’s like that verse says in John 4:23

King James Version (KJV)

23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Praising, worshipping, and thanking God is what God seeks for.

When we do this he can’t help but to show up in our lives, and provide that amazing graze for us.

So, if you are looking for God or wondering where he is right now in your life I dare to take your eyes off of the problem and start focusing on the PROBLEM SOLVER, JESUS. Start thanking, praising, and worshipping him because he will definitely show up and show out!!!=)

Here’s a song that can help you get your eyes on JESUS, our PROBLEM SOLVER =) Enjoy!!!

Stay in God’s Peace, not in pieces=)
