I’m really
loving this passage from 1 Corinthians!!! Its gets me excited because it’s
talking about how amazing GOD is!!
Think of
the wisest/strongest person you know or know of???? ( you might think its you
lol)
If you did
a survey some might name Socrates, Da Vinci, or even their mom as the wisest
person they know. For the strongest person they might say Zydrunas Savickas,
the reigning champ of the World’s Strongest Man competition.
But none
of them compare to the GREATNESS of GOD. In verse 25 it says “For the
foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is
stronger than human strength.” So, when you pray for direction in your life
remember that God’s worse day is GREATER than you best day!! When you think
that you are strong enough to handle any situation by yourself, you are
terribly mistaken. Don’t look inward, don’t look outward, only look upward to
God and he’ll be your strength =).
God is
sooo awesome, that he personally shows each and every one of us just how
awesome he is every day. If we just take a moment and open our eyes we would
see that God truly shows off =). It even says that he does, in verse thirty one
it reads “Let the one who boast boast in the Lord.
Jesus is
the reason why we have blessed and successful lives. Jesus is the reason why we have this or that.
Jesus is the reason why were are righteous, holy and redeemed in his sight.
Jesus
makes the unqualified, qualified. Jesus is the only one that can make something
out of nothing.
God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him.
30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31
Stay in
God’s peace, not in pieces=)
