Salvation Sunday: Holy Visitation

Joel 2 is one of my favorite chapters. I don't know what it is but it's been something that has always been with me. Joel 2 is about how God is going to give us a holy visitation. I know that Glen earlier this year was talking about how this year is a year of restoration. And in Joel 2, you see how God is going to restore unto His people what is rightfully theirs. God is calling His people. He has seen the faithfulness and is going to restore families and restore finances. But, like in 1 Corinthians 2, we have to stay strong in the Lord!!!

But, Joel says to gather the elders and get people ready because a holy visitation is on its way. And I believe that at least the east coast is going to experience a crazy revival. It's going to be a crazy visitation from God but the question is are we prepared for His visitation? Are people in place to receive this holy visitation? Are we sounding the alarms to people? Are we bringing people into the church?

And also God is going to pour out His Spirit upon all flesh!!! He is going to use anyone who is a willing vessel. And like Hannah said, God doesn't call the qualified. So, stop worrying about your qualifications because He already has you covered there. God has qualified you but you just have to follow and trust Him!! The daughters and sons will prophesy. The old men will see visions and the young men will dream dreams. God is getting to ready pour out His Spirit but He needs His people to be praying and fasting for this holy visitation. It's time that we put in some work for this visitation.

A couple of verses of what Joel tells us to do to prepare:

Joel 2:12, 15-17
" Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?"

It's time to prepare for His Holy Visitation!!!

Prayer: Jesus, please prepare your people for Your coming. Lord, let us continue to seek Your face so we can be prepared for Your arrival. We do not want to be surprised when You come. We want to be prepared for the revival and for the world that is hungry for Your Word and to feel You. Please God continue to raise an army that is on FIRE for you and for your kingdom!!! Let this army fight on your behalf!! Jesus touch this nation. Remove all injustices. Touch this nation and this generation with your power!!! Thank you Jesus for Your love and your power and your grace!!! In Jesus name, Amen!!!

Stay blessed!!!
