Salvation Sunday: Speak into your future

In Ezekiel 21, there is a common theme of God having the man to prophesy. There is a common theme of having the person speak things into existence. God has given us the power to speak things. Today, in our Young Adults service, the speaker, Natalya spoke about the real meaning of faith. One of the things she said was that faith without works is dead, which is also in James 2:19. But, the thing is that faith is acting upon the faith that you have. Faith is speaking into your life that God's promises will come true. Faith is saying that I am going to get a job even though it looks like there is nothing open. Faith says even though things look horrible and does not look to work in my favor but I know that God will work it out. When we are facing hardships, we should not be complaining about our situation. We should not be worrying about it, but we should speak it into existence. Philippians 2:14 says "Do all things without murmurings and disputings." Don't let your current situation dictate how you feel or how you live your life. Speak life into your situations. Speak it!!!

If we look at a situation with Ezekiel. In Ezekiel 37, the Lord said to Ezekiel, can these dry bones live. And Ezekiel said You know Lord. Then the Lord said, speak to these dry bones. He was basically saying Speak to this situation. This goes for our lives as well. Though your life or your situation may look like it is dead and there is no life from it, speak life into it. God has given us the power and the authority to change our situation. The way to change our situation is by TRUSTING in God and SPEAKing life to our situations. We have to act upon our faith and speak the life into the situation. Speak Life!!!!!

Stay blessed!!!
