Warrior Wednesdays: 1 Step Plan For All of Your Needs

How many times have you heard someone say "they are trying to make things happen".  Maybe you have even been the one to say those words, I have. The problem with this phrase is that it is not aligned with God's plan. God has created our world to function perfectly including all of our needs to be met therefore, we do not have to try to make anything happen.  God will make it happen. Any need you have God will provide whether it is food, money, a car, clothes...every need you have God will take care of it! As someone who is in desperate need of money and a car I can take comfort knowing that God will work it out. His only stipulation is to SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Today's reading demonstrates the greatness of God. Psalms 104 describes the power and majesty of the Lord. This chapter blends perfectly with Matthew 6. These two chapters depict the sovereignty of God and his care for us.  In this passage we see that God has made everything perfect. We strive so hard to make things happen for us when God has already made the whole earth to function in perfection. If we follow him everything will work out according to his plan.

"Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever."
God in his infinite power created the whole earth that is shall never be removed.

He sendeth springs into the valleys, which run among the hills. They give drink to every beast of the field...
God's perfect creation allows water to flow through hills so that all animals can be filled. This is not a mistake or just happenstance that streams and rivers flow through hills, this is a result of God's handiwork and his thought for all creation.

The high hills are a refuge for wild goats...
If God created the hills to offer protection for goats how much more do you think God will provide a place of protection for us? When we need a place a refuge God will always provide us with protection.

The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.
Lions described as the king of the jungle seek God for their food. We too should look to God for our food.

Today's passage reminds me of Matthew 6:25-34
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.  If God will supply water for all of the animals then why do we concern our selves with what we will have to eat or drink. If God will provide for the animals he will provide for us.

Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
...For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

I believe we over complicate life. God has created our world to function perfectly and for us to be fully provided for. We do not need to worry about where our food, drink, clothes are coming from because God will provide our needs. God's only request is that we seek first the kingdom of God and he will take care of the rest. I think many people have life backwards. We seek our needs first i.e. money, car, house etc when God clearly states if we seek his kingdom first he will supply our needs.

Stay Blessed and Continue Warring for Christ!
