Daily Bible Reading: 80% of Churchgoers Do Not Read the Bible Daily

In a recent study of "Bible engagement",  LifeWay Research conducted a survey of over 2,900 churchgoers and found while 90 percent "desire to please and honor Jesus in all I do" only 19 percent personally read the Bible daily.

"God's Word is truth, so it should come as no surprise that reading and studying the Bible are still the activities that have the most impact on growth in this attribute of spiritual maturity," Ed Stetzer, president of LifeWay Research said. "As basic as that is, there are still numerous churchgoers who are not reading the Bible regularly. You simply won't grow if you don't know God and spend time in God's Word."

How can we please and honor God in all we do if we do not read his word to know what he wants us to do?
