“24 How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them
all; the earth is full of your creatures. 25 There is the sea, vast and
spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number-living things both large and
small…27 All creatures look to you to give them their food at the proper time.
28 When you give it to them, they gather it up…” Psalms 104:24-25,27-28.
Ever sit back and just look at the world around you? Think
about how things work “naturally” and harmoniously like how animals know to
store food for the winter, or birds know to fly south. I have, and each time I
do I am truly amazed to how beautiful it is and how creative and wonderful God
is. The vast oceans which we only explored about 7% of full of all of its
creatures which we aren’t even close to discovering.
The sky with its vibrant colors
as the sun rises or sets, northern lights, rainbows after it rains, the land
and its different terrain whether it be mountainous, desert like or a rain
forest. It is all truly amazing. God’s work is more beautiful than any portrait
or painting by Van Gogh, Michelangelo, Monet, Da Vinci, Picasso whoever. They
did their best to try and imitate nature and it’s beauty, yet they were not
able to capture it’s essence. God is more than worthy of our praise and honor. God’s greatness is incomparable;
his work is unparalleled. Our God is an awesome God.
“May the glory of glory of the Lord endure forever; may the
Lord rejoice in his works.” Psalms 104:31
