Saturday Sacrifice: We are Kings and Queens of Faith

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the
knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:Christ;
2 Corinthians 10

King Hezekiah truly demonstrated and lived his life with these verses as his mantra.
He truly understood the power of the truly living God. Even in the face of death and destruction he still was steadfast.
For it says in 2 Chronicles 32, King Hezekiah “ …appointed military officers over the people and assembled them before him in the square at the city gate and encouraged them with these words: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.
I admire King Hezekiah. This king was definitely a king of faith. He never saw God but he seen his power before. So, he didn’t second guess this time that God would deliver.
It’s funny because now at days especially in America we faint and lose faith when it comes to little things. King Hezekiah was facing the wrath of a vicious King and his army.
We have never seen God either. However, we have seen his power demonstrated in our lives. So, in a sense we are like King Hezekiah.
But, do we still believe that with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.
Remember that “blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed”.
Having faith in God is to trust and believe that God will deliver. Just like the verse mentioned above you will be blessed.
God is pleased when you have faith in him. It means you believe he is who he says he is.
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Romans 11:6
So, like Hezekiah we have never seen God. However, we have seen his power demonstrated in our lives.
So, like King Hezekiah believe that with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.

Stay in God’s Peace, not in pieces =)
