Someone
once told me that the bible has one interpretation but many applications.
So, from
the book of Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 2 it says,
“Write down the revelation
and make it plain on tablets
so that a herald[e] may run with it.
3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
it speaks of the end
and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
it[f] will certainly come
and will not delay.”
and make it plain on tablets
so that a herald[e] may run with it.
3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
it speaks of the end
and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
it[f] will certainly come
and will not delay.”
To me this
verse is one of the many promises God has given us. This promise speaks of
writing down your “revelation” or dream, vision, goal, purpose of your life.
It goes on
to say that the “revelation awaits an appointed time”, however, when it “speaks”
or actually happens it will be true and not false.
God has
given all dreams, aspirations, innovative minds, goals etc. Each and every one
of them God has purposely set for an appointed time when we will come into the
true “revelation” or when it will be fully revealed or realized in our lives.
You may
not see it coming soon but “wait for it; it will certainly come and will not
delay”.
Just keep
the faith, keep a good attitude, keep working towards it, and keep seeking God.
Stay in
God’s Peace, not in pieces =)
