Forgiveness is so important to do. If you don’t it will cause you
to live in the past and miss out on all the blessings that God has prepared for
you. Also, most importantly if you can’t forgive someone who has wronged you,
how can God forgive you?
Mark 11:25 ~ And when
ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also
which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
5 If
anyone has caused grief, he has not so much grieved me as he has grieved all of
you to some extent—not to put it too severely. 6 The
punishment inflicted on him by the majority is sufficient. 7 Now
instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be
overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. 8 I
urge you, therefore, to reaffirm your love for him~2 Corinthians 2:5-8
We are God’s love letters to the world. “3 Are we
beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters
of recommendation to you or from you? 2 You
yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. 3 You
show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not
with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on
tablets of human hearts.”
We are purposed to spread the “letter from
Christ” to those around us. Do we really do that?? Personally, I slack in this
area because sometimes I don’t want to stand out from the crowd. Even though I
don’t want to, I do any way, and you do too. We are set a part.
1 Peter 2:9~ But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praise of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
So you might as well walk in you purpose. Because when you take care of God’s business, he will most definitely take care of your business.
14 But
thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal
procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. 15 For
we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and
those who are perishing. 16 To
the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings
life. And who is equal to such a task? 17 Unlike
so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in
Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.
Stay in God’s peace, not in pieces =)
