Everyone knows the strongest promise is a pinky promise. A pinky promise can not be broken! Every promise that God makes with us is a pinky promise. When God makes a covenant with us he will not break it. It may take longer than we would like to receive the promise but it will come to pass.Abraham is the father of faith because he lived a lifetime believing God's promise to make him a father of many nations. At times this may have seemed like a hopeless situation."Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father or many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be."Romans 4: 18 Despite his age Abraham still hoped that God's promise would come to pass.Although, both Abraham and Sarah were well past their child bearing years, Abraham remained strong in his faith knowing that God was going to make good on his promise. "And being not weak in the faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: "Romans 4:19 Can you imagine being 100 years old and having a child? That is an unrealistic idea for almost everyone, however with God all things are possible. Abraham knowing this continued to believe the promise of God.During Abraham's journey he overcame numerous obstacles which increased his faith. With every victory he made sure to give God praise and wait patiently on the promise that was given to him. " He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;" Romans 4: 20 While we are waiting for our promise we may come up against many challenges, it is important that we keep our faith strong knowing that God will come through for us. It may not be on our time, but it will be in his time which is perfect.Stay Blessed and Continue Warring for Christ!Warrior Wednesday: Brittney
