46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
If God is indeed very present then, why do I feel real alone? Monday’s blogger Jael mentioned that our problems or short comings make us feel real. To continue her phrase it makes us feel really stressed, frustrated, and incapable or ____ (your fill in).
However, as Jael said through God we become unreal. We then are at peace, extraordinary and capable.
Romans 8:37
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
If God is indeed very present then, why am I in trouble? Tuesday’s blogger Jamera stated when things go wrong we shouldn’t complain, but trust God because in the end God makes no mistakes as it always works out. Jamera gave us one thing to be thankful for, that is when God is in the mess, it’s 100 times better.
Proverbs 3:5
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding”.
If God indeed is my refuge and strength, why do I feel weak and lost? Wednesday’s blogger Brittney broke down psalms 44 to deal with these feelings. Brittney stated
1. We should recall the blessings of God,
2. Trust God, let him lead
3. Be faithful to God, Never turn from God

5. Continue to ask God for help
Jeremiah 29:11
If God indeed is my refuge and strength and a very present help in the time of trouble, why can’t I recognize him in my situation? Thursday’s blogger Ron said there are times when we don’t even recognize God is with us. Ron said in these times we must pray until something happens.
Psalms 46: 10
” Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”
2012 every day I faced a transportation issue, will it be a 7 to minute ride to and from work? Or an hour walks to and from work? These questions echoed in my head for first 3 months constantly, my days were focused on these questions. God intervened giving me revelation that as those questions consumed my mind and day, that essentially I was exalting my problem. I made my issue greater than God. After, this revelation I made the decision to make God bigger for the rest of year, refusing to allow these questions to dominate my mind or upset me. God gave me a word as I walked through 2012, as he always gives his people a word before a struggle. My word:
Romans 8:18
I realized after getting my car at the end of 2012, that 365 days I’ve walked, and of those 365 days God walked with me.
Amen!!! Thank you Christian!!! He is our help in our present life!!! Stand still on God's word!!
